Hokie Clairmont (lead singer for “The Boyz”) recently had a son. I wanted to take a moment and publicly tell him congrats. He is an individual that I have a great deal of respect for. He has been singing Northern Pow Wow style for many years. His father (Jim Clairmont) is a “Porcupine Singer”, a well respected singer and song maker.
I know he is proud of his son. If you are familar with the family, drop them a line and say hello. Buy some music from his group. They have a “snocap” player on their myspace page and on indntunes.com. While they may not travel a lot this year we hope the best for them. ”Hi Hi”
